OHSAA Scholarship
The OHS Alumni Association is offering a $1,000 scholarship to a deserving Westside High School Senior. The requirements to apply include having a minimum unweighted GPA of 3.0 and a minimum composite ACT score of 19. Applications are distributed by the Westside guidance counselors to all students who meet the requirements.
The scholarship committee will select the winner in a fair and impartial manner using a point system where the applicants remain anonymous until the points are totaled. The recipient will be recognized during the annual school wide awards program in May.
A big thank you goes out to all those who have generously donated to the scholarship fund and we encourage all members of the OHSAA to make a tax exempt donation in any amount so that future Westside seniors can receive financial assistance in pursuing their career goals.
To make a donation, fill out and print the Scholarship Fund Donation Form then send it, along with your donation, to: OHS Alumni Association (Attn:Scholarship), P.O. Box 2161, Oceana, WV, 24870.
