OHSAA Scholarship Winners Announced

The winners of the Oceana High School Alumni Association's annual scholarship have been announced. This year's recipients are Amber Cline of Oceana and Michael Harless of Cyclone. Both of the Westside High School seniors will receive $1,000 in scholarship funds to be used toward their college expenses.

Cline and Harless were recognized and presented certificates at the Oceana High School Alumni Association's annual Mix and Mingle held April 27th in the Oceana Middle School cafeteria.

Cline, who plans to study Veterinary Medicine, is the daughter of Tony Cline and Pamela Cline of Oceana. She is a member of the National Honor Society, Leadership Wyoming County, golf team and Raze. She was also a peer leader at the College Summit Workshop and has received various scholastic awards.

Harless, who plans to attend Concord and study pre-med, is the son of William and Rhonda Harless of Cyclone. He is a member of the student council, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, National Honor Society, Leadership Wyoming County, football team and baseball team. He has received various sports and scholastic awards.
