Contribute and Volunteer

There are many opportunities for you to contribute and/or volunteer to help.

Do you have a marriage, birth, promotion, retirement, etc. to report? Please share the good news with your former classmates and friends of OHS. You can also send us a short biography of yourself or one of your classmates for a feature section in the newsletter. Send the OHSAA your name, address, year you graduated, and the news you would like to share and have it published in an upcoming newsletter. A successful alumni association, and newsletter, depends on you!

Were you in the newspaper? a magazine? or some other publication (including the internet)? Then please submit a scanned copy or internet link to OHSAlumni.com and share the news with your friends on our Alumni News page.

The OHS Hall of Fame is a non-profit organization which solely depends on the generous donations from alumni to cover all expenses.

This program, started in 2004, offers a $1,000 scholarship to a deserving Senior(s) at Westside High School. Since 2004 the OHSAA has awarded at least one scholarship a year and sometimes more depending on funding. This year, 2011, we were able to award four (4) scholarships! To date, all recipients of the scholarship have successfully completed their field of study or are still in college.

The goal of our yearbook project is to place all the OHS yearbooks online, cover to cover! This is a major undertaking and we could really use your help. If you would like to help: Check the yearbook page to see which yearbooks we need. If you have one we need and would like to scan it for us, please scan the pages at a minimum of 300 DPI (large photos).

Do you have any photos from your time at OHS? Any photos of one of the three old schools? How about any photos of things around campus like "Rick's" or the "Kathy Lou"? If you do - why not scan them and send us a copy for the photo albums for all to enjoy!
